Current Status

• May 8, 2006 - Applied for allotment of land identified by court in the JDA
• May 3, 2006 - A compromise was reached in the last hearing. The school, it seems, will run. The main points are:
  1. We have finally agreed to option three i.e. that is flat land that is approximately 15, 000 sq. metres, about a kilometre away from our current location but in the centre of two villages - Khatipura and Bhavgarh Bandhaya. This is equal to the area asked for in our initial application for allotment.
  2. We have to submit a new application for allotment of this new land attaching the old application with it, within a week.
  3. The JDA will allot the land within 15 days. It will consider allotting the land on concessional rates, as much as is possible as per rules.
  4. We will have to move within six weeks of allotment.
  5. JDA might help in constructing a similar building, but this is not part of the court order.
